You don't need a fancy camera, you just need to learn how to use the one you have. In my classes you will learn to see light, angles and techniques that will help you become your family's storyteller.
Learning is a process. I have carefully designed my classes to build you up each step of the way. First we will learn 5 steps to getting better photographs, then we will dive into the art of storytelling, then if you choose you can join me for the beginning and advanced classes (you will need a fancy camera for these classes).

These days we all have a phone in one hand and a little one in the other! The best part is that this means you always have a camera nearby. Do you wish you could get better pictures with your phone or camera? I have 5 steps to instantly improve your snapshots! I will teach you what to look for to create a great photo no matter what camera you are using.

Home Photography - Learn how to find the light and story in the heart of your home, where the best stories happen. $125
Mom and Me Photography Class - Enjoy this class with your child as you learn to photograph each other. Children 9+ are recommended to get the most out of this class. $125

Storyteller Classes
We start with a beginner class to get to know your camera better and all of the automatic features your camera was designed to do. Then you can move on to our advanced 5 week class to learn how to use your DSLR camera in every mode, even in manual mode! I will personally help you take charge of your camera so you can create the photos you dream about.
7 weekly classes with 28 hours of total class time, working in a very small group of 1 - 3 students so that you will have plenty of personal one-on-one instruction with Serena Nicole. Homework consists of thoughtful lessons to further your study and five classes have outdoor time to practice your skills together. Books Included. $2500
