She will forever be my baby cousin. It was summers spent with her in diapers when I learned how much I loved little ones. I remember at nap time ‘accidently’ bumping into her bedroom door after I couldn’t wait to see her any longer. I loved every little thing about her and then before long, I had to move away to begin my life as a miltary wife. I wanted time to stand still so I wouldn’t have to miss her and her sister growing up without me. But alas with each visit they would be older and even more beautiful than the time before. This visit home was full circle. For now she is grown and beginning her life as a wife and soon a mother of twins. I got to spend a few hours with both of them while getting ready for the ceremony, and that time together I will forever cherish. For they are still my sweet little cousins but even more now, they are friends too. I am looking forward to a day when we can live closer and spend more time together.
When Shelley and I were planning for her wedding we wanted to create images that were timeless, full of real life moments, filmy grain, and emotion. I hope I was able to give her just that. What a beautiful day. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it and I love you and Kris dearly. Oh and I can not wait to meet and photograph OUR twins. Yes, that is the perk of being family, I get to claim them too! XO
