Peace. That is my mantra for the new year. Not a resolution, just a way of thinking. Digging through my mail after a long holiday and I found this.
Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.
Perfectly said. Especially for my busy life. So today I write to you from a place of peace. First day back and it feels amazing to be sitting at my desk. So fortunate to love what I do.
I started back with a new little one. Just 3 weeks old. Amazed when I looked over the pictures because all I see is peace, as if it was coming straight from my heart.
This year is a big year for my family. I have my oldest graduating from high school and we move to another place (who even knows where!). So I invite you along, with ring side seats, as we go from a first birthday with Jackson to the big leap into adulthood with Tyler. As we navigate and learn where our home will be next and as I capture the last of my Germany clients. All before bringing Serena Nicole Studios to yet another family of clients somewhere in this big wide world. An exciting year ahead. I go at it all with peace and love that I have you along.
