Jackson loves to curl up under my desk and play as I work on my computer. I am not on it often, but whenver I am, he looks for the toys that are close by, picks them up and runs under my desk. He plops down and contently plays.
This morning I wanted to capture that. I asked Jonathen to grab my camera and bring it to me, I was afraid if I moved Jackson would to.
Just before I could get the camera on Jack he ran off. I sighed. This was my second attempt to get a moment of Jackson’s on film this morning…
Without saying a word, Jonathen crawls under the desk and starts imitating Jackson. There was a nano second when I was still stuck on the moment that Jack ran away, when my eyes met Jonathen’s. He made me smile and in that second Jonathen’s sweetness was so vulnerable and exposed.
This has been his purpose since he was just a little guy. Truly. I can remember memory after memory of him being intuned to just what I need.
He brings me so much happiness.
