We probably aren’t up for parents of the year. But the rain just kept on coming today and the house was getting smaller and smaller. So Matt brought Jack outside to splash around a little out front. Only now they were soaked and shoeless and the park looked like even more fun.
I grabbed my camera and followed them there. Yes, all three of us, barefoot, in the rain, with our child at the park. I can only imagine what the neighbors might think.
But i have to say if those neighbors knew how much fun the park can be in the rain, they might just join us. Matt and Jack shared so many laughs and smiles and Jack just kept on saying “try again” before his feet could even touch the ground.
