It was so wonderful getting to meet Brenda for the first time. She was so excited about what we could create and I felt immediately we were the perfect fit. Then I got to meet her family and in that moment I was so consumed by their love for one another, I could barely wait to get my camera pointed in their direction. As we sat and chatted about their family I teared up several times, they are love.
Being a young mom, a very young mom the first time around, I know all too well what it can feel like to have the world looking your way and to feel the pressure to fit the mold when only, you can’t. Then with my Jack, he has taught me more about tolerance and love than I can even express. So when Brenda shared that she feels that tug almost every day, because of her tatoos, I knew we had a story to tell. A story about what love looks like. When I asked what she wanted the world to know about her family most, she said I want them to see beyond the tatoos and see the loving family that we are.
