Since this week seems to be taking on a theme of new beginnings, I thought I would go with it some more, and share some pictures from a wedding I was lucky enough to shoot.  I loved working with this couple at their portrait session before their wedding.

hickman engagement :

Remember them? They were wanting to get pictures together to display at their wedding and one thing led to another ( I asked) and I got invited to shoot at their wedding!!!! I was beyond excited for the chance to play around. They already had a photographer through the Japanese Chapel they were using but the Chapel agreed to let me come along as long as I didnt shoot the ceremony. DEAL. I had them all to myself for getting ready and then a few times throughout the day I was able to snag them and do what I wanted. It was wonderful. I loved that we already had a connection from the previous portrait session  It allowed us to make jokes and have a good time together. I got the nickname of the Okinawa Paprazzi as I would duck behind bushes and behind trees to get out of the way of the other photographers and get the shots that I wanted.  I felt so lucky! I hope they will enjoy some of the shots that I was able to snag for them. I sure enjoyed being a part of their day and getting a little wedding experience under my belt. There are so many pictures that I had to grab a few favorites to share…here they are for you!
