The sun was shining, the temps were inching up towards fifty so we jumped at the chance to get outside before the cold front rushes in tomorrow. We hit one of our favorite trails and it just amazes me everytime how at home we are on our hikes. Every one of us. Matt blazed new trail and that gave Jon the itch to do the same. We had so much fun. Jack was running ahead and showing us the way giddy with excitement. He ran out to the log that we love to balance on and HE jumped right up and shocked us all how well he could balance. When he got uneasy he whispered “help, catch me”. Jon ran at the chance and caught him and swirled around. It was just another sweet moment in the woods….one I am happy to have it captured.
