This winter I realize, I have never raised a toddler in a cold place. I am used to spending hours and hours outside. There is something magical about raising little ones on a beach. Throwing away all your cares and speding the day in the sand with content exploration. That I miss. That I know Jackson would love. Here lately we gear up for the cold and Jackson turns around and comes back to the front door and knocks to go in. I am with him, it is hard to enjoy exploring with a bitter cold breeze on your nose. So today, we look out the window and dream. Dream of a warmer day to play. As we stood at the window Jackson pointed and talked all about his old friends, the trees, the barking dogs and the dirt.
