I would trade all the love letters in the world for this spelling test. This test is months in the making. At first glance you may think it is just cursive. But I see a million life lessons here. A few months ago we had a teacher tell us he should never write again, he should use a computer because of fine motor weakness. Those were such hard words to hear that they became inspiring. Jonathen and I worked for months together, each day, practicing and learning cursive. The goal? To take the first spelling test of 2012 in all cursive. Today is the day. Today is a day I hope he will remember with great pride.
