Old Friends

I was lucky enough to work with this client in Okinawa. I was so elated to learn that they were moving to Germany just a few months ago. Mom wrote me to share the news and signed up for a session right away! So just one week after moving to Germany they were here having a session! I felt so special!

Our session day came and it was beautiful. The best part of the day for me was when little K, or maybe I should say not so little anymore K, jumped out of the car and wrapped his sweet arms around me. It gets better, he then snuggled his little head into my shoulder and neck and hung on. Tears instantly filled my eyes. It was the best hug ever. He was so little the last time I saw him and now he had a little brother to introduce me to too.

The first picture is of K in 2007! What I love about this picture, as a photographer, is that my style is still the same. I could put this picture on my blog and I think you would believe I took it just the other day!!  I love that. Go ahead and see how much not so little K has grown! It will amaze you too. Oh and his little brother N, is the cutest, chubbiest, hunk of pure love!

K was so cute. As we were playing I would say, lets go up the stairs. And he would shout YAYAYAY, up the stairs! Like it was the best thing EVER! He taught me a little something that day. Even the little things can be OH so exciting.

One last thought. It was so wonderful to see beautiful Lauren. She looks just as I remember her. And Dad. He is probably the NICEST guy I have ever met. Genuinely, whole heartedly nice. These two boys have a wonderful example to follow and the world just got a whole lot sweeter.

It was so great to see you guys! I look forward to seeing much more of you!
