His first word was car. He loves anything that has to do with cars. Watching them drive down the street, watching a race on tv, or most of all one in each hand as he goes about his daily tasks.
Today as I unrolled his car mat on the floor I got a wave of emotion. I have been missing my Tyler this week and when I looked down at his car mat laying on the floor, it made me miss him more.
In that instant I wanted to capture my littlest playing on the car mat that was handed down by the oldest and was adored by the middle just as much. This one mat has truly stood the test of time.
It wasn’t until I got the image on my computer that I realized there was even more history here at play. This fire truck is from 1975 and has been handed down generation to generation now.
I love the history here and how it is holding us all together.
