The snow was coming down and coming down fast. Two inches an hour and so what did we do? We bundled up and headed to our favorite hiking spot.
It was cool to see something so familiar look completely different. Completely transformed.
Later I asked you jackson where the moss and the sand and the bridge were. You looked at me very smartly and said, they were under the snow mommy, giggle, hiding.
Jon, you never miss a chance for a snowball fight and you walked the entire path throwing snowballs. Jackson loved it most when you threw them into the lake and they slowly sunk in.
And Matt we wore you out. Every few feet Jackson would ask you to pick him up and by the end you declared that he was a tank and that you had your workout for the day! When we got home later you told me in the kitchen, phew that really wore you out!
As for me, I just loved taking it all in with all of you.
