We worked hard today but I am pretty sure we laughed harder.
I am currently in the middle of a book that talks about marriage briefly and I shared with Matt just yesterday what it says. It talks about people leaving their marriages all too soon, never wanting to work through the hard times. It goes on to say that marriage is about moments. 20 minutes here, 10 minutes there, throughout your life together, those moments are magical and what a good marriage is all about.
On one of our many trips between houses Matt looked over at me in the car and smiled. I smiled back and then he said, we have had lots of those ‘moments’ today. I agreed. I couldn’t ask for a better partner.
