This storyteller session was so much fun for Tyler and I to capture, that when the sun went down we were shocked! We had been playing for almost six hours and it felt like we had only been there for an hour tops!
When Elizabeth and I sat down to dream up her session we had a sweet list of what is happening most in their every day. We wanted to be sure to capture homeschooling, daddy makeovers, the girls coloring with mom, reading, drums, baking, performing… so much sweetness! We did it and it turned into an amazing testament to a loving family that they can cherish for years and generations to come.
Sometimes we forget the little details of our kid’s favorite toys in their hands. I love how Dad got into the mix with a little make-up time. Then Mom snuggled up with a book with Harley the dog and her son. The kids love to make forts and look at how they used their mic stands to hold up the fort!! Those are the little details that make this story all their own. This time in their life has been paused and now they can go back to it whenever they wish. Now that is magic.
Elizabeth had this to say about her experience: Serena is more than capable of capturing the perfect portrait. What is so much more than that is how her portraits recreate the emotion of the day, allowing you to re-live the moment. She quickly becomes like family and we feel so blessed to have her in our life.
We loved every minute with your family Elizabeth, thank you for choosing us to tell your story.
