As I gathered the tissues, carmex, and cough drops to come to work this morning, I got to thinking that this is pure testament to how much I love my job. I am so excited to share these families with you and have missed visiting with you on the blog. So today I write to you in between sniffles. The good news is that I am not contagious through the computer screen!
Ever get so behind on something that you do not know where to start? That is how I feel about this ol’ blog today! That is when you just have to jump in somewher, so I have decided to blog from the end to the beginning. My most recent client all the way back to the ones I took in September. YES, September! Wowsa.
This family is fresh off the plane from Georgia. As we prepared for our shoot I began to give Mom directions to the studio. I started with the address and she exclaimed, “you have got to be kidding me”. We both had a giggle when she shared that she lived just up the road from me. Now in Germany that is a big deal. We live in a vast land where anything and everything is about 20 minutes away! When she put the address into her GPS to come to the studio it said we were 1 minute apart! So not only did I get to meet a new client but a new neighbor too!
They are such a sweet family. You could hardly tell that the temperature was sitting in the 30’s.! Coming from Georgia that is a cold shock to the system! We started in the studio and warmed our way outside!
