Today is one of those days. I want to throw my arms in the air and say I AM DONE!!! I am getting all too tired of goodbyes. It seems we have had to say so many this year already. We are blessed with the most amazing family and we don’t get to see them […]

Jackson has the most gentle temperment, but he is not a cuddler! That didn’t stop Grandpa Lyle from getting some love. Jackson was distracted watching his show and Grandpa was reading a book, with a little sneaky cuddle mixed in. It was the sweetest sight.

Jackson was into his art, quite literally, as he became the canvas! He managed to get a few strokes onto the paper, but most of his expression was on his face, hands and the table! What a true artist, or as Daddy would say, a joker. The paint was purple and green and he did […]

Oh my goodness, I love this kid. He was cracking me up with his moves. We were talking and out of the blue he starts singing, “I am sexy and I know it….” while wiggling those cute hips. I was laughing so hard. I love the funny side of Jonathen that is coming alive. Bring […]

There were so many great shots today. But this one, this one stole my heart. It is because I caught the look that you give each other when your kids are so thrilled with something, when you glance over to say, can you believe this?? In all of the world, this is my favorite look. […]

Jackson giggled and giggled while playing with his new little friend. The bug did circles and flew onto his arm and he thought it was the best thing ever. He brought the bug to check out Jonathen’s bike and even tried to give him a ride. It was pretty fun to watch, well until he […]
There is something about the way they look at you or that little giggle that gets you every time. That moment that tugs a little harder on your heartstrings. The moment that you tell yourself you are never going to forget. As a mother, I find refuge in the natural images of my children, images that bring me right back to that smile, giggle or moment.
Those images grow stronger as the years pass. At the moment the photo is taken I see it as it was. Years later and I am transported back to the moment and I feel like I can be right there again. I can even hear that little giggle that goes along with that look. To me that is the strongest investment I can make; being able to freeze time and return to it anytime I want.
I personally created Serena Nicole Studios with a mother's wish in mind. I wanted a custom photography experience to capture all of those natural looks, smiles and giggle that will transport YOU in time. Looks that are carefully crafted by a fluid and natural portrait experience that is child centered. My photographic style is very tender to encourage every one to feel comfortable so they can show me their style all their own.
I see your family as I would want to capture mine. Those looks between a mother and child, a finger wrapped tightly around yours. Candid expressions that showcase what makes your family unique and all your own. So that years later you can remember more than what you looked like but what you felt like too.
tell me about your family
I would love to get to know you too!
